Life becomes Spicy when you are Healthy

Life is changing day by day and each day brings you opportunities to challenge yourself in every aspect. It is upon us how we choose to respond to it. Same is the story of my life.

Its been few months that i am feeling about the increase in my weight. I discovered that there can be multiple reason for it like eating junk food, not having food on time, lack of sleep, medication side effects, constipation, stress etc. This became a trigger for me to work on myself as i felt connected with these reasons. Considering all the health issues at a very young age, i had to pull my socks and take up the challenge to grow into a better human each day. Now i have become a health freak following a healthy diet and lot of workout. Self Pampering just took a flight....

Self Pampering means:

  • Not eating Junk food
  • Not eating bread
  • Sleeping on time
  • Complete atleast 7 hours of sleep
  • Eating food on time and
  • Exercise at the Gym - takes care of whole body fitness workout
  • Adding few other food items in my Diet
Adding new food items to the diet means eating atleast 2 fruits a day, eating 1 spoon of flax seed after lunch, green tea, eating a fist of Chana, fig, corn flakes and a glass of vegetable juice everyday. The quantity changes as per my hunger but the diet has to be same. (Sundays are cheat days)

I started eating these food items without knowing of how it will help me. But once i started, i could feel the change especially flax seeds did wonders to me.  flax seed contain healthy fat, antioxidants and fibre which makes you full even if you have little. It has lignans, protein, and essential fatty acid Omega-3 which helps reduce weight.  

Here are few benefits of flax seed to health. 
  1. Lowers the risk of Stroke
  2. It prevents Cancer
  3. Improved Digestive Health
  4. Helps in lowering the Cholesterol
  5. Helps in lowering blood pressure, good for people having high blood pressure
  6. High Source of protein
  7. Lowers Sugar level, beneficial for the people having diabetes
  8. Controls the appetite by keeping you full

These are few of the benefits of consuming flax seed... I would recommend everyone to have atleast 1 tablespoon daily for the health benefits.
